Why we exist
A gap our founder saw firsthand.
Datos was founded to close a specific gap: P&C cost containment needs automation the large platforms simply won't develop. The market is too specialized and the problems too particular for a general-purpose vendor to prioritize.
So carriers, TPAs, and managed-care organizations end up managing complex, high-dollar decisions in spreadsheets, email chains, and manual data entry. We replace those workarounds with secure, integrated, defensible workflows.

Our consulting and integration work is led by a former Enlyte employee with hands-on experience in SmartAdvisor and Capstone® Business Decision Manager — from implementation and data integration through rule development, workflow modelling, and the Claims Examiner Portal. Greg Mills
Founder & CEO
Greg Mills is the Founder and CEO of Datos Software. He brings a 35-year career in software, including 18 years integrating data systems for workers’ compensation platforms and more than a decade working deep inside complex insurance technology platforms — experience that includes direct, hands-on work with Enlyte’s SmartAdvisor and the Capstone rules engine.
He founded Datos to apply that platform-level knowledge to the cost-containment problems that carriers and TPAs face every day. Under his direction, Datos has turned a 47-day manual demand process into a streamlined workflow, cut clients’ data-processing time by up to 75%, and reduced manual data-entry errors by up to 98% — while keeping examiners in full control of every decision.
